New Head appointed for Bell International division

The Board of Directors of the Bell Group has appointed the Head of the new Bell International division set up at the beginning of 2015. Daniel Böhny (53) will join the company on 1 November 2015 and take on the management of the division. Until this time, CEO Lorenz Wyss will continue to act as the ad interim head of the division. Daniel Böhny will join Lorenz Wyss (CEO and Head of Bell Switzerland division), Marco Tschanz (CFO/Head of Finance/Services division) and Christian Schröder (Head of Bell Germany division) on the Group Executive Board.
Daniel Böhny has thorough training in business administration and broad-based management experience. He has been working for Transgourmet Switzerland Ltd in various functions since 2008, most recently as CEO of Prodega/Growa/Transgourmet. He previously worked for the Bell Group from 2004 to 2008, during which time he very successfully managed the Poultry business unit. The Board of Directors is convinced that Daniel Böhny is the right candidate for the consolidation and continued development of the Group's international activities and is looking forward to working with him.

Highlights of professional career
He was Director of Business Development and member of the Executive Board of Autogrill Switzerland Ltd from 2002 to 2004. Prior to this he served as the CEO of the Autogrill subsidiary Flughafen-Restaurant AG.
In 2004, he joined the Bell Group and very successfully managed the rapidly growing Poultry business unit for four years.
In 2008, he moved to Transgourmet Switzerland Ltd and served as the CEO of this wholesale delivery company for the food service sector for five years. Since 2013, he has been the CEO of Prodega/Growa/Transgourmet, which is part of Coop's subsidiary Transgourmet Holding AG, a company operating throughout Europe and the market leader in the Swiss wholesale cash and carry and delivery segments of the food service sector, delivering produce to restaurants, hotels, canteens, nursing homes and hospitals.
