Bell Food Group sells convenience operations in Eastern Europe

20.05.2025 Ad hoc announcement pursuant to Art. 53 LR
Eisberg, a member of the Bell Food Group, is selling its production sites in Poland, Romania and Hungary to Green Factory.

The plants in Switzerland and Austria and the Eisberg purchasing company in Spain are not affected by the sale. With this strategic decision, Eisberg will focus on its core markets in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) in future.

Green Factory operates across several Central European markets in the food industry, with facilities located in Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, and Ukraine. The company intends to continue operating the sites and will take on all employees. The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction. The deal is still subject to approval by the relevant national authorities.

Due to the strategic focus on the DACH region, Mike Häfeli, Head of the Eisberg business area, is leaving the company at his own request. The Board of Directors and the Group Executive Board regret this decision and express their sincere thanks to him for his valuable contributions. They wish him all the best for his professional future. Tobias Wölfle will succeed Mike Häfeli as Head of the Eisberg Division with effect from 1 June. Tobias Wölfle is currently CFO of Eisberg.

Eisberg is a leading supplier of fresh convenience salads in the DACH region. Its product range includes chopped salads, fresh herbs and pre-cut fruit and vegetables.
