Following the very successful 2024 financial year, Hilcona continued its growth trajectory in 2025 and increased its net revenue once again – in spite of continuing moderate market conditions and persistently subdued consumer sentiment. Hilcona further expanded its market share in the fresh convenience segment in Switzerland and cemented its leading position. Profitability remained stable despite the shift towards entry-level products.

Demand for lower-priced ranges continued. At the same time, the ultra-fresh product ranges in the upper price segment posted substantial growth. The veggie segment did very well, and the tofu and hummus ranges strengthened considerably. The same is true for the salads and meals and sandwiches categories as well as the food service segment.

Hilcona celebrated its 90-year anniversary in September with the official opening of the ultra-modern high-bay warehouse at its headquarters in Schaan (FL). The new, fully automated high-bay warehouse with more than 17 000 pallet spaces, three temperature zones and a digital control system represents a milestone for internal logistics and signals significant progress in terms of efficiency and safety. Investments in sustainable features such as photovoltaic plants, green roofs and the Minergie standard underline the environmental awareness and commitment to sustainable production processes. The digital network and smart control of the new facility ensure more transparency and flexibility. This represents the successful conclusion of the second phase of the comprehensive plant development plan in Schaan. The third phase has started with the integration of the high-bay warehouse with the production line.
