Company health management focuses on the employees

Bell Switzerland has been certified with the "Friendly Work Space" label since fall 2016. The label certifies that the company implements a wide range of measures to promote employee health. With the introduction of occupational health management (OHM), these measures are now being systematically structured, evaluated and expanded. The aim is to further improve the health conditions in the workplace and to support employees in the event of health problems.

Accidents, illnesses, problems with colleagues or superiors as well as private or other social difficulties can affect employees' health and have a negative impact on their ability to work. This results in stress, dissatisfaction and, in extreme cases, long absences or even complete incapacity to work. For this reason, Bell Switzerland has long been implementing a whole range of measures to improve the health and job satisfaction of its employees. These include preventive measures such as company physiotherapists or free flu vaccinations in winter. At the same time, specific improvements are also implemented directly at the workplace where necessary. Where possible, the individual needs of employees are also taken into account.

In the course of certification with the "Friendly Work Space" label, Bell Switzerland introduced a company health management system (BGM) in which these measures are systematically structured, evaluated and continuously expanded.

As part of case management, employees are supported in difficult situations. The individual measures are coordinated by the HR department of Bell Switzerland Ltd, which puts a lot of effort into this. "Our aim is to ensure that employees who fall ill due to health, social or other problems remain in the work process or can be integrated in the long term," explains Johannes Meister, Head of HR at Bell Switzerland

An important element of occupational health management is the early recognition and addressing of health problems or other difficulties. "We don't want to wait until it's too late to act. That's why it's important that employees come to us and seek a discussion," explains Julia Peyer, who is the project manager responsible for occupational health management at Bell Switzerland.

Employees can decide for themselves which office they want to contact. Various free internal and external advice options are available as part of the BGM. The various contact points support employees in finding solutions and treat their concerns confidentially.
