New CFO of the Bell Group designated

The Board of Directors of the Bell Group has appointed the successor to CFO Martin Gysin, who will step down in 2015. Marco Tschanz (39) will join the company on December 1, 2014 and will be introduced to his area of responsibility. He will assume the role of CFO in full during the first quarter of 2015 and join the Group Executive Board.
Marco Tschanz has a sound education in business administration and management. He has worked at Swisscom Ltd since 2000 and in recent years has served as divisional CFO and member of the respective divisional management teams responsible for the finances of Swisscom's various segments. Most recently, he was a member of the Executive Board of Swisscom (Switzerland) Ltd and subsequently Head of Cloud Program Swisscom. The Board of Directors is convinced that in him it has found the right person for continuous and sustainable financial management and looks forward to working with him.

Most important professional milestones
In 1995, he started his career at Marex AG and Fiduco Treuhand AG in Biel.
He joined Swisscom in 2000 and held various positions in finance and controlling until 2013. Among other things, he was Senior Manager of Controlling for the SME, Private Customers, Network/IT and Wholesale segments of Swisscom Ltd and was a member of the divisional management in each case.
In 2013, he was Head of Finance at Swisscom Switzerland and took over as Head of Swisscom's Cloud Program from February 2014 as part of the new Swisscom Group structure
