Bell Food Group Capital Market Day in Fuensalida
During the tour of the Bell International division's site in Fuensalida near Madrid, the participants were introduced to the new production plant for Serrano ham. The dimensions of the plant are impressive: around one million Serrano hams per year are cured in 64 chambers on 26'000 m2. Bell has invested around EUR 40 million in this new construction project and hired an additional 100 employees. With the existing plants in Casarrubios del Monte and Azuaga, Bell has a modern and efficient production infrastructure for Spanish ham (Ibérico, Serrano) and Spanish raw sausage (Chorizo, Salchichón, Lomo). The products are marketed under the national brand "Sanchez Alcaraz" and other brands of the Bell Food Group.
Thanks to its strategic focus on the charcuterie segment of cured ham and its portfolio of regional cured ham specialties from its own production in various countries, the Bell Food Group has good prospects of further expanding its leading role internationally.
After the tour, CEO Lorenz Wyss, CFO Xavier Buro and the Head of Bell International and Eisberg Marco Tschanz gave an update on the strategic direction of the Bell Food Group with a focus on the business activities of Bell International. The event also provided an opportunity for direct discussions with top management.
